Conference notes that higher education in Scotland is devolved to the Scottish Parliament, and that the Scottish Government proposes to bring forward a “Green Paper” on the future of higher education in December 2010. Conference recognises that the devastating cuts and the Browne review will impact on universities in Scotland. Conference agrees to take into consideration the differences in the Scottish system in planning and campaigning the industrial action.
