Congress notes the recent data and publicity surrounding gender disparities in
medicine.
Congress believes that UCU can play a major part in helping to improve this
imbalance. We can educate our members, students and institutions, adjusting
curricula and institutional policies where necessary.
Congress calls upon the NEC to conduct a UK wide campaign in conjunction
with (where possible), our employers and political representatives to ameliorate
the situation as soon as possible .
