UCU Congress is the supreme policy making body and such policies emanate from motions passed at Congress. As a democratic union, UCU membership should have the right to know the progress of the implementation of passed motions at Congress. Consequently;
1) Individual branches who have had motions passed by Congress shall be kept informed of progress on the motion by the NEC.
2) Where an issue is of concern to more than one branch, the branches shall be put in touch with each other by HQ to allow them to network on progress and share in good practice.
3) A regular progress update from the NEC should be sent to branches
4) An annual progress report made available to Congress delegates.
