This Conference notes with concern the considerable delay for integrating hourly paid staff onto the new pay and grading structures being introduced in HEIs under the Framework Agreement.
This Conference therefore instructs the HEC to:
1) Seek a report from every local association and branch on progress on this issue by the end of the year
2) Where no progress has been made, take pro-active measures to ensure that hourly paid staff are fairly integrated
3) Ensure resources are available to support local associations and branches in their negotiations.
