In light of the recent financial crisis and the forthcoming pay round, conference instructs the NEC to run a vigorous, high-profile campaign jointly with other HE trade unions and the NUS on the basis of 'No Cuts in HE; For a publicly funded sector'. This campaign will put pressure on the government to prioritise public services by providing increased investment in higher education.
