- Motion text
Congress welcomes the initiatives undertaken as part of the anti-casualisation campaign, but there is a need for more progress on the ground. Congress calls on the NEC to initiate a project to run during the coming year, involving at least one HE and one FE institution, where local branch activists work with the local Branch Development Organiser, and with input from the NEC and the Anti-casualisation Committee, to recruit, organise and support casualised staff; to report on progress regularly at NEC, analyse the results and issue a report by Congress 2011 to inform future strategy.
